I'm not so good at reviews but today I had the opportunity to roll my venator.
I punched up this baby with a 5X5X2 with a 3"deep 29/32 xhole on the pap just to bring it legal to usbc specifications.

This where my first 3 games with a Seismic ball (179,241,280)
In the first game I had a few problems with the ball reading to early in the midlane and the backend reaction I gas getting wasn't good enough to carry well. I believe it ended up too aggressive for the regular THS (even if I was standing on 35/20/6)
Even tough I never missed the pocket, missed 2 ten pins, a 7 pin and a 4-9 and the spares left where 8 pins and 9 pins.
In the second game I tweaked the coverstock. went for a light coat of polish (Storm Reacta Shine) and the carry improved a lot but even with the front 7 it wasn't the reaction I expected from this ball... was very speed/hand/board sensitive, by the third game I took the ball to the shop and started with an Anarchy drilled the same way and fill the first 2 shots with it while the VENATOR was in the spinner being touched with a 3k abralon pad and getting a coat of ReactaShine, the result was amazing, The ball was extremely forgiving to speed, hand and target went 10 strikes heavy flushed for a 280, I even made another 2 shots and in the 12th left a stone 9 pin.
Conclusion: It's a great ball, rolls very heavy to the pins, I have never thrown anything with so many horsepower, people believe the hype, it looks awesome down the lane with those colors and if you don't match up at the beginning don't be scared to tweak the coverstock to fit your style, specially if you are planning to use this ball in THS.
Already considering to get at least another one
