It's true. I used to run several pro shops, and worked in retail for a while as well. It's my core belief that when someone treats me as well as Steve has, that loyalty should be applied.
Now, if he was sending me banged up stuff and not shipping for a week without an explanation, then that's a different story. I ordered my Train and a Hook from him last week. The double ball box the balls came in wasn't up to his standard for shipping, so he waited until he got some new double ball boxes, and told me that he wasn't convinced that it was the best box to ship it in.
Really? He could have pushed them out, and if they got damaged, blamed the shipping company, but no. He did an awesome job, and is still communicating with me on a daily basis. He has consistently taken care of me, so why not?
Heck, I'll even go through him to get NEAT pads and a spinner if he can get me one! That's how strongly I feel about rewarding good service.
