Seismic at the European Champions Cup

If you're not aware Ryan (Press) is at the ECC, armed for the first time with Seismic equipment in his arsenal.. results follow!

Short Oil - Position in Squad - 2, Press, Ryan, NIR, Avg - 231.75, Games - 8, Total - 1854, Scores - 244 222 187 286 223 225 220 247

Long Oil - Position in Squad - 1, Press, Ryan, NIR, Avg - 231.88, Games - 8, Total - 1855, Scores - 196 238 233 274 234 257 214 209

Ryan was 78 pins clear of Thomas Gross of Austria, and 156 clear of Martin Larsen of Sweden in that squad, he obliterated them. He used his Solaris Requiem in games 1 and 2, Solaris in game 3, and the remainder with the Epicenter! Great bowling!

1 pin more on long than short, i have to say im impressed with my consistency

had front 10 in game 4 on short for 286, then game 4 today went front 9 (epicenter) then shreaded the pocket for a 7 pin.  straight through the 3 pin on a loose shot next for 274.

Epicenter performs REALLY well on the long...

Scores after long and short blocks ..

Ryan is 1st after 16 on the short and long patterns! Now for 8 games on the Combined (thats one lane long, other lane short).

Yes the Desperado isn't cleared yet, so couldn't use it so had to use other urethane... Needs must!

Was some old black thing!

Mixed oil today didn''''t go just as well (129 over for 8), the Spanish guy drew with me for 3rd but gets me on high last game.. So top half of the top 8 draw.. Just gota try my best tomorrow and if it happens it happens!

Lost my match this morning... playing the German guy, i had him on the long oil 246-170 or something... onto game 2 on the short i got tapped 3 times and missed a spare, lost 220-207, then on the final game on long oil i didnt throw the ball as well and i kept catching dry in the middle of the lane, 2 big splits sealed it for him (greek church and big 4)!

happy i made top 8 though!

Will do as soon as I get home (in Athens airport right now..).

However for now..

Epicenter
Pin below ring, MB around 50 degrees, box surface.  thats about a 5" pin for me.

Solaris Pearl
Pin over bridge, CG at around 50 degrees

Requiem
Pin under middle, mb at around 45 degrees

Sorry thats not overly technical... for my own stuff I dont even measure out anymore, I know what pin placements roll well for me!

The Epicenter was the best reacting ball for me... the combination of the early rolling drilling and the highly polished pearl cover gave me such a smooth reaction in the midlane allowing for a good move on the backend, and while there isnt much backend on the long pattern this is important!
