Seismic Venator Vid
« on: June 19, 2013, 04:36:04 PM »
Here's my Venator video for you all to see.

The Venator does what it is designed to do, hook! I drilled one somewhat strong, and the other to give me a bit more angle. Very clean through the front of the lane. Strong midlane and a strong roll to the pocket.

This is a sweet piece! Very predictable roll, and in it's polished state, it's a beast. I'd hate to see it sanded.

So far the Venator has been everything it has been marketed to be. After my sport shot league last night on the Shark pattern, I had the privilege of practicing with the Venator on it for a few games.

I played 30 with my feet, my eyes targeted 16, and breakpoint around 7. I had a real good look with it, shooting 198, 213 and 203. A couple of rip sevens and 10 pins that if I carried would've put the scores a bit higher. My lateral moves were minimal from the start.

In comparison, the Raging Bull I threw in league, I was standing 35, eyes at 18 and breakpoint around 7, my lateral moves were more with the Raging Bull as it wanted to check early because of the low amount of oil up front. I ended up finishing with the Dominion standing where I started with the Raging Bull. Also to note, I did burn a me a little bounce outside during the 10 minutes of practice. So I did have quite a bit of area come end of 3rd game and all of 4th. I ended up shooting, 189, 196, 213 and 185. Not too shabby for first time on Shark.
