Just punched up my Euphoric last night and boy was it aggressive at the OOB condition. At the demo...all of the pieces were at 2000 abr no polish, and I knew that I really didn't need the ball to be at that surface for my 2 THS leagues that I'm bowling in....so with the word of the ball being released at 4000 abr, I was thinking that should help get the ball further downlane.  My Euphoric is drilled 45°x5.5x35° and definitely has some get up with her.  My Euphoria is drilled the same, and I had the idea of drilling the Euphoric the same just to have a slightly earlier look than the Euphoria but I got much much more early read with the same layout at OOB.  So I changed it to a true step up 4000 and it gave me a longer skid before transition.  Decided to go home and prep it the same as the Euphoria (4000 abr + secret sauce) and I'm going to try it Thursday at one of the THS leagues that I have been struggling at this year.  Hopefully putting all things equal (or as close to it as possible), the Euphoric/Euphoria combination will provide to be a winner for these lane conditions.  Ball looks great going down lane and I'm very happy keeping that same layout since I love the ball motion...but boy did I need more oil to sustain that look when i first threw it.

We had a 23.85 total volume, 41ft, 8.33:1 house shot that I was using it on...and the ball hooked too much.  The total volume has been changed, told to us by management, two weeks ago.  People were complaining about carry, which is a staple of our house in the first place, and they decided to lower the volume...go figue.  I really didn't think we needed to lower it, but it seems to have helped.  The day they changed it, we had two 300s shot, easily should have been 4 that night.  Last night, we had a two hander shoot 825....so the scores have shot up big time since the change.  Now I'm still having to player more of the lane (standing 35 on the approach), but I was able to use the Euphoric more in the middle of the lanes to avoid hitting that 8.33:1 ratio and the ball destroys the rack.  Kind of weird that I can use it there in the middle with the overall lower volume, but truthfully, I don't know where the lowering of the volume took place.  They could have pushed a little more volume to the center but lowered the end of the pattern or something.  I also have a Desperado TSE that is giving me a great look with this lower volume as well...but being able to flirt with that friction a little more than the Euphoric.  But the equipment rolls so great for me...and people are definitely starting to notice the brand and the controlled power it possesses.

Euphoric is a versatile also. I drilled this one up 90x1 3/8x60 looking more for something smooth that I can play in track and a bit straighter. Layout and ball are great, on any THS I have tried it on I have been able to play 12 or so out to 8 ball moves early around and smooth no jumps off the dry and never quits hooking through the deck.
