I think Seismic is one of only two companies I have not thrown, I have lurked and threatened on several occasions over the last three years but never pulled the trigger.

Now I think I will, SO, my question is what is the best arsenal for league and tournament coverage, consisting of covering everything you can from A-Z in patterns?

If it were me, I would go with this:

Venator - Can handle some oil in factory OOB. With some surface it can handle more
Long Horn - Perfect compliment to the Venator
Euphoric - Can handle med/med-long patterns - also excellent benchmark ball
Raging Bull TSE - Great compliment to the Euphoric - Also great on the busted shots
Desperado TSE - Excellent for those shorter and drier patterns.

The only hole I see in this, is an angular ball on the lower spectrum. You could fit a Solaris Platinum in between the Euphoric and Raging Bull TSE. It would allow you to get more length and pop when you don't need the midlane. The Solaris TSE could fit in there also.

And yes, the Venator can handle some oil. It was excellent on Shark and US Open for me with factory surface. If you want just one ball for the heavies and long, than the original Raging Bull can handle that easily. This way you can keep the Venator at box surface for the med-heavy patterns.

For your THS, the Euphoric, Raging Bull TSE and Desperado TSE would suffice.

Of course, this is all relative to what your rev rate and other stats are.

Yes, the TSE line is the "Tournament Special Edition". The Solaris TSE is the upcoming release this month. WWRD is Feb. 28.

Been throwing mine for about a week now. Main differences are the Solaris TSE is a symmetrical cored ball with the original trailblazer core. Coverstocks on each of the TSE balls are the same covers so your basically seeing differences in the cores. Raging Bull has the Horn core and the Desperado has the Isignia core. Really on the TSE line you could go by numbers and the differences are in the numbers.

OK, so a best from each ball line? What is the main difference between the platinum and the solaris tse?

The Platinum cover is more aggressive than the TSE cover. The Platinum would have just a little bit more length than the Solaris TSE, but more pop/angle on the backend.

The idea with the TSE line was to take the same cover, and let the different cores dictate reaction. Using the Horn Core, Trailblazer Core, and the Insignia Core from the Desperado LE, designed for pure control.

DO you have all three TSE's? If so what is the reaction shape of each as close to equal as you can get.

the line will uses the new TSE Solid Reactive coverstock, which is medium to mild in overall strength, giving less friction in the oil and a stronger response to friction. It was designed with tournament bowlers in mind. But they are also great for your ths.

Ok Got it. I have not had a chance to read through the forum and see if there was a answer, I just starting typing.lol

I like that concept has been tried before I think in some form. Really like the black bowling balls, man that takes me back, nice to see that reaction.

I couldn't wait myself when I heard they were doing this. I was like a kid waiting for Christmas. lol!

I believe 2.48 RG, and .048 Diff. I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that's what it is. I'll find out for sure.
