Just a little more info on the Nations Cup...

The Nations Cup is being held as preparation for the 2010 Men's World Championship which takes place in the  52-lane Dream-Bowl Palace in Unterföhring, Germany this August 11-22.

The 3-day competition features 24 games per player in Singles (8 games, 4 on long, 4 on short oil), Doubles (6 games, 3 on long, 3 on short oil), five-player Team (4 games on dual lane condition) and Singles (6 games on dual lane condition).

The conditions used at the event are selected from the WTBA Oil Patterns, given the selection of patterns for this preparation event we could witness a pattern chosen from the short and long patterns available.

With the Desperado designed specifically for use on these shorter tournament patterns, it will most certainly be the ball of choice for players at the event wishing to combat the short oil pattern.
