Surface change on euphoria
«

I was wondering if anyone had altered the surface on their euphoria. I am not getting as much hook out of mine on a fresher oil pattern than I would like and thought this might help the ball read a little better. I know this ball is designed for lighter oil but I really like the way it hits just can't seem to get it to turn over on the fresh. It is currently polished thought maybe going to 3000 might help.

Take the surface to 1K and then put some polish on it. I have had good results with that surface on Seismic equipment when I just want a little more. Aftermath, Euphoric, and Dominion were great for me with that surface.

Knock the polish off. Put it at 2000, and call it a day

I like Gunny's idea! I always go with a surface that's easy to repeat and I'm not a big fan of polish.

I had a great look going with 1000 abralon as a base then going all the way up to 4000 in steps makes it look polished but taking away some of the over/ under that polish can bring

I made this change and it helped a lot. My home house has been really hot this year a/c on the fritz and it seems to have caused the oil to run down the lanes more or maybe they are just putting it on heavier. This change allowed the ball to read just a little earlier and gave me a little more recovery. Thanks for the advice on this it helped.

Remember that if the a/c isn't working properly that more humidity is in the air and oil and water doesn't mix well. I find lanes play tighter when a house is warmer and there's a lot of humidity.

Tight lanes are lanes that do not hook much. They haven't opened up and you don't have a lot of area.
