New ball for my wife
« on: July 24, 2015, 09:26:55 AM »
My wife has the Euphoric and absolutely loves it. She is wanting to purchase another seismic ball and I am trying to help her decide what to get. Her stats are:

15.5 mph off the hand
rev rate is about 250-275

She bowls mainly THS Leagues with about a 170-175 average. She says she would like a ball with a little more back end movement than she gets with the Euphoric. I have been considering the Photon, Torpedo, and Venator pearl and having a hard time deciding which would be best for her any suggestions?

If you are looking for more pop I would go with either the Photon LMB or Venator Pearl. The Venator Pearl is going to hook more in the back and a little sooner than the Photon. My wife currently throws her Photon on most house shots and has been averaging around 225 with it for the last half of the winter and part of summer. Her rev rate and speed are very similar to you wife's. My wife also has the Torpedo when she needs something to get rolling a little sooner to start the night. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask myself or any of the other staffers who frequent the site.

I would stay away from the Torpedo oob if you are looking for backend, polished it might work. I would say Photon or Venator Pearl would be perfect.
