What is your favorite bowling ball by Seismic and why?

I go through trends of which is my favorite but basically have learned to like them all for different reasons. If I had to choose it would be my original epicenter drilled pin under middle finger (drilled my fifth one today).

If I had to choose a ball it would be the blackout. I've drilled it 4x and love the versatility. Truly a benchmark ball

Only have the Blackout and it is truly an amazing ball, it has bailed me out on several nights when the lanes were on the dry side.

I'm like you Dean, I go through those same trends, but learned to like each for different reasons.  So here's my thoughts on their pieces.

Solaris was a flippy ball for me.  Enjoyed it somewhat.

Requiem is a beast, and great on the sport patterns and tournament shots.  I could really open up the lanes with it.  Loved that ball.

Aftermath is a very strong angular ball, and I ran into alot of over/under with it, but still enjoyed throwing it though.

Aftermath Pearl is a sneaky ball.  Real poppy off the dry, and in sanded form is a very strong pearl.  Still enjoying throwing it.

Epicenter is a very versatile piece imho.  It was definitely a godsend on the longer patterns with some surface on it.  Still had good length and a strong move.

The Euphoria is one of my favorite pieces.  Next to the Villain Pearl, the Euphoria is second in how smooth it was for me.  Very consistent piece and I got alot of play out of that ball during the summer.

But right now, the Raging Bull Charged is my favorite piece by Seismic.  Another strong but smooth rolling piece.  Very predictable and consistent move to the pocket.  Not as strong as the AMF Grip(best ball out imho), but just below it and just as smooth.  I love that it makes people ask what ball I'm throwing, and when I say "Seismic Raging Bull Charged", they are baffled and amazed at the same time.

Ive thrown all except the new ragings,

FOR ME>>>>>>

Blackout is the best overall reacting ball (benchmark). I could make the Epicenter a close second, and Aftermath Pearl a third...Then I did have some problems with the Requiems(both solid and pearl) and the Aftermath solid. Im gonna guess it has to do with my higher revs, and truthfully not enough oil to roll any of those. I cant see how anyone could go wrong with the Blackout or Epicenter on most all but burned lane conditions.

Similar here, mine is even used - but it was/is much better than I expected. Rather a special purpose ball through its design, but it does its job well on light patterns and ridden lanes. And what else can you ask for?

The only Seismic ball is have right now that I can throw is the Euphoria (I have a Aftermath solid being plugged at the moment) and I love it.  And like a previous poster, I get asked all the time "what ball are you throwing?"

I hear the posters' on this thread saying they love the Blackout for lighter patterns.  If my Euphoria burns up to early on a 2nd shift league pattern, should I drill another one to go longer or should I try this ball?

The Euphoria has a higher differential, and combine that with a pearl cover, once it hits dry it wants to roll quite hard. The cover on the blackout is the solid version of the cover on the Euphoria, but has a much lower differential so will make a smoother move on the dry.  So with the correct drilling on the Blackout you can easily move down to the blackout after the Euphoria starts moving too hard..

My favorite is very close between Epicenter and AfterMath Solid. Epicenter because it is so easy through the heads and how strong the movement is off the spot, even with more of a controlled layout it is strong off the spot and will cover boards very well. AfterMath Solid is their because of versatility. same layout as the Epicenter. AM works well on everything from heavy volumes to meduim light patterns if I need to hook it something fierce. Incredible power in the pins and a amazing move off the spot.

I love all of my Seismic equipment but ultimately at the end of the day I have to go with my blackout its the most versatile ball in my arsenal, benchmark.

I haven't got a ton of use out of my euphoria. Although similar to blackout which I love, it hasn't make it out of the trunk lately.

The bulls have such enormous blocks that the charged is a great ball. The RB works well on medium patterns for me because generally on fresh they are able to blend out the end of the pattern well.

The blackout pin under bridge is my most versatile ball.

lately I have been using my Aftermath K2 with a heavy coat of polish. It allows me to play closer to friction with smooth move off the dry. I don't always want to hook the whole lane.

I finally used my desperado in competition last weekend. Won a tournament for a couple thousand. I was the only one able to get a stable ball reaction and carry from outside. I certainly won't leave home without that ball again when I am traveling to a tournament
