Whats next from Seismic?

Based on what you guys view as a complete arsenal what do you think Seismic needs to make to accomplish that.

So far they have 4 balls out.

Kinetic Solaris- Strong pearl-symmetric
Solaris Requiem- early strong solid- symmetric
Epicenter- Skid flip pearl- asymmetrical
Desperado- Urethane w/ performance core

I am just curious what your guys opinions are. I have traveled with Seismic only for the last 5 months and am very pleased.

The Kinetic Solaris is technically no longer "out".

They need a medium to medium-heavy solid oil ball, maybe using the Epicenter core.

They need a benchmark medium oil solid or solid/pearl combo.

Since the Epicenter is a really a medium-light oil (to just quite shy of medium oil) pearl, it and the Depserado make a good 1-2 combo for lighter oil lanes.

I think we have one more of those yellow balls sitting here undrilled... if only it was legal to throw we could hold a competition to give that away

Solid ball is on the cards in the near future... no strict timetable just yet but in the first quarter of 2010..

We're very keen to get a real nice benchmark ball in the line-up, although it's not the next planned release.

With the popularity of the Mutant Cell and Virtual Gravity at the moment, we're looking at something to cover similar conditions to those type of balls.

Don't you think you have this covered with the Requiem?  The Requiem has the S79 900G cover, which is very strong.  I think I was able to use my Requiem once when the lane machine put out a long flat shot in error.  All other times it is way too strong for "normal" conditions.

I would like to see a solid Epicenter and also a weaker cover, perhaps on the Insignia core.  Maybe a rating of S45 or somewhere close.  Then the lineup could be:

Requiem S79 Heavy oil
Epicenter solid S72-S70 Medium/Heavy good benchmark
Epicenter pearl S70 medium/lighter medium
Light oil ball S45
Desperado Short patterns/broken down shots

I think a more versatile solid then the requiem would be great. Something like Storm does with mid range solids.

I would also think the Requiem is about even with the, Mutant Cell or VG. Though I have never used one (yet)

My Requiem hooks more than my VG but the reaction shape is different. IMO, the VG and Mutant Cell have that "back end look" that is popular right now. I prefer the strong arcing shape of my Requiem (in fact I'm selling my VG) but I'm not exactly Joe Bowler...lol

Yes this is the main difference... the Requiem can move a lot on the back end, but in box condition and with the lower differential the general reaction is going to be earlier, though on the heaviest conditions it should move more than the others mentioned.  If used on conditions too light, the Requiem will not perform to its potential.  On heavier and longer conditions the Requiem gives you good hook, strong midlane, and a lot of control.
