New family member- My EUPHORIC has arrived!
« on: March 16, 2011, 12:22:24 AM »

Let me be the first to say, pictures do not do this ball justice. This is one really good looking ball.

Can't wait to get it drilled and try it out.

Thanks again to Seismic bowling and Ryan for having these fun contests and making Seismic stuff available to the members here.

If everything goes right, I'll be trying it out tomorrow night.

No problem Juggernaut!

And yes, it is difficult to show in a photograph just how good the ball looks as it kind of changes colour depending what light is on it!

Enjoy the ball :)

I put the lines in 2 euphoria's and a blackout today. I pick them up tomorrow. Maybe I will make a video if I am throwing the ball well enough :)

Ryan,

Am I correct in thinking the core looks very similar to the old Circle Cores from balls like the Tilt etc.  Is it the same or have the densities been adjusted?  Or am I off beam and it is new?

 Davy,

No that is a different core... tbh I am not sure who poured balls for Circle Athletic, but the Seismic cores to not have any "relatives" in the Circle family :)

here is a pic of mine, but it still isn't just right. For some reason, the ball appears brighter to my eyes than it does to the camera.

Saw it next to a G900 S70 Break pearl last night, and it appears close to the copper color in that ball, but a touch brighter. This is a very sweet looking, single colored ball.

Ryan,

Have you done some testing on this ball with surface changes?  First night out, she was sweet on the fresh, but once transition occured (which is about the 7-8 frame of game 1), she became a bit touchy.

Ball rolls really nice, and this one does something I haven't seen in a while. With this drilling on it, the ball stabilizes with the thumbhole as the PSA (you can see the insert as it stabilizes). I love it when I can get a ball to do that.

The ball rolls really consistently, not giving you those "unexpected" moves some balls provide, seemingly on their own.

We have tested it with 4000 and 2000 abralon finishes and as expected they are going to give an earlier read and less angular move on the back end.  The ball will work well like this on medium oil, but to be honest for best results you are best keeping the ball in box condition.

WRT to the ball finishing up rotating around the thumb, this is simply due to the nice high differential and your axis migrating more that on other balls :)
