Seen jeff carter bowling the greater ozark tournament
« on: May 07, 2007, 04:42:07 AM »
My son and i were bowling the ozark open this past weekend in
springfield mo. We went with a group of bowlers from st louis
some who bowl in the st louis masters league. Anyway i seen
jeff carter was bowling on one of the st louis teams. Saturday
single & doubles he was down a few lanes so i didn't see how
he was doing. On sunday he was bowling on the pair next to me
so i was watching him from time to time and i was impressed
with his smooth style and release. I didn't talk to him because
i seen there were others talking to him from time to time and
i figured he was there to bowl and didn't need a lot of
distraction.

hey gripnrip  i was also in you 930 am team squad with the ray orfs team  also kristal scott and nathan bohr happened to be on the squad as well.  Tough squad for brackets with jeff carter although he was around 590? or so another tour member nathan bohr and a kristal scott who was just on the v for the queens event.  We bowled doubles and singles with kristal and nathan  looked like they had an ok look in singles but doubles was another story.  Hope you shot well i know i didnt bowl well in team but i was 104 over for enterprise which is usually pretty good.

I was a late addition to the team, one of the
bowlers had to back out because of personal
problem.
I bowled with al geolat,scott fleming,rick watts,
my son vince giovando.
I thought the shot was tough but playable. Wet outside
10 somewhat dry inside. I shot a little six in singles
with a 246 out the gate, down hill from there.
In team i believe we shot 2985. I thought the shot in
team event started out tight but started to open up late
in the second game.
Both days we got to the lanes about hour early. I was
surprised to see they let us have open bowling practice
on our starting pairs with the fresh shot. I didn't know
they could oil that heavy and have it hold up with practice
and tournament play.
