North Carolina Area Tournaments
« on: December 30, 2014, 08:36:59 PM »
Hello everyone,
I am currently "living" in the Greensboro area of North Carolina for my job. I was wondering if there are any tournaments coming up in the North Carolina, South Carolina or Virginia area that I could drive to. I am a 225 average bowler and love to bowl harder tournaments. I'm open to any ideas, thanks in advance.

There is a New Years Day Scratch tournament in Stanton, VA which is 3-4 hours away from Greensboro.
Also check out Classic Carolina Bowling Tournaments, I think they are out of South Carolina.
There is a Tournament is Goldsboro, NC in January thats a big scratch tournament the phone number is 919-759-0098 its on Jan 24-25th

Clarke Hill runs several tournaments in the area (he's in Goldsboro) that attract a number of professionals and local high-average amateurs.  Look him up on FB.

THe PBA comes to Rocky Mount every year in later April/Early May.  Take a look at the PBA website for more info on that tournament.
