Our local association is hosting a 9-pin no-tap "tournament" to raise money for Bowl for the Cure this coming weekend, October 20 and 21.  Shifts are:

10am Saturday at Bulldog Lanes in Starkville, MS
10am Sunday at Columbus AFB in Columbus, MS (only people who would ordinarily be allowed on an airbase should try this one)
2pm at Columbus Lanes in Columbus, MS.

It's certified but open to anyone, sanctioned or not.  $15 to enter, t-shirts given with first entries.  We have door prizes and some nice raffle prizes.  Since it's a fundraiser, there's no prize money beyond the door prizes.  If you "win" I'll print you up a certificate.  You would get to meet me, that might be a worthy bonus.

It's for a good cause; if you're not too far away, come on out.  PM me for details.
