Knoxville Scratch Shootout
« on: July 20, 2007, 06:17:53 AM »
Hey folks. A fellow bowler and I are going to start a new series of tournaments called The Knoxville Scratch Shootout. Our goal is to create a high quality tournament geared towards bowlers with a passion for the game. The format will be a 6 game sweeper, followed by match play. For our first tournament we are going to guarantee $1000 for first place, but hopefully move up from there as we gain support. It will take place in Knoxville, TN at S & S Western Ave. on Sept. 2nd. Here is the official site where you can get more information on the tournament and how to sign up: http://www.knoxvilleshootout.com

Post any questions you have or email them to me directly at bowling@knoxvilleshootout.com

Will you be utilizing the house shot?

No.  Our goal is to have a shot that is competitive but playable.  We want people to be able to score, but we don't want it to be bumper bowling.  The shot will not be the typical house shot, in hopes of creating a different atmosphere for the competitive bowler.

Cool...I'll spread the word.  Don't know if I'll make it to all...but I'll definitely make a couple.

Good luck!
