Well we're first shift on Saturday, so I'm not too worried about it, but we've got 3:00 Sunday so I'm sure that will be interesting

Well,

I just "bowled" at the team house today. The 3 o'clock squad. Lanes were fine. But guess what???? The approaches were sticky. This was blamed on the fact that both a/c units had compressors go out today. My how lucky was that and the temp outside flirting with triple digits.

If you bowl there you better hope for cool days and bring everything you have to slide with.

Geez I need to use spell check!

I had the same problem but it was 8am team shift.
The approaches were a major joke!!!

If you knock down 10 pins always smile,no matter how they fell. An X on the 1st ball is 1 step closer to 300.

They had us on 19&20, I don't recall any big scores in singles and doubles but we were way down on the end of the house, so Hondo might have a better idea...

Actually not too bad. A woman at the other end of the house shot a 300 on our squad. I rolled about average. for some reason I could not buy a strike. Every ball hit good but I guess that's just my luck. I ended up with a 747 in singles.

Doubles was a different story. Me and my partner started off well enough but the second game killed us. Neither of us shot above 140's. Then we finished strong the last game, go figure. Maybe it was the storm that knocked the lights out twice. LOL!

Wow that sucks about the power!  I can sympathize with you on the striking, my ball was there, just some very odd carry both days.  Good singles set though inspite of it all!

I guess we can try again next year. Same area and better lanes for the most part.
