in need for a proshop
« on: June 18, 2008, 07:16:19 AM »
i'm going on vacation for the summer to the US for the first time.
i'm coming from the Netherlands and want to buy a few balls (morich) a bag and shoes.
so i need to know where to find a good proshop.
i'm going to l.A. , Las Vegas and San Francisco.

the balls in europe are very expensive about 300 euro (450 usd) for a twisted fury

thanks , Paul

In San Francisco, you might want to look up Goodman Ng at All American:

drilling includes inserts most of the times when you buy a ball, if you bring a new ball yourself it cost about 50 usd

so if anyone can recommend a proshop
i don't want to come home and find out that the balls are wrong drilled

How do you get around the problem of BAGGAGE WEIGHT? Don't you have to pay when you exceed certain restrictions put on baggage?

That was easy thanks gsback, 3 locations so if you are at sam's town pick green valley store.

If orleans or gold coast the flamingo store

west side the suncoast

all are great dont worry same deals but flamingo has more stock than others by at least double.

I suggest you buy the equipment at your last stop before going back home.  Just too much weight to carry.

If you know what you want, I would contact the shop to have it ready for you when you arrive.  Not all shops stock Morich.

Goodman in San Francisco is an established shop.  Been in business for 25-30 years without being in bowling center.

Make sure you go the new closeout store when in town and get some killer deals on newer discontinued stuff, Agent is in stock for 149.95 drilled and you get 20 percent rewards back on gift card. So true price is 119.96 plus grips, slug and sales tax.

Lessons are from great coaches you will be happy, I have feedback from 3 other BR members who I have sent there in the last 4 months.
