Title: Norcal Meet, Greet and bowl thread...
Post by: Nor Cal Bowler on March 29, 2009, 05:50:36 AM
I don't know how many people from nor cal look in this section, but I think it would be cool to do some setups at alleys here in Nor Cal. I know I want to bowl at delta bowl in antioch someday soon!

Anyone interested?

ive never been to delta bowl, but there are a few of us that i know of that are in nor cal (ie Rsalas, addik, tenpinspro, bowl400, raiderh20boy and more) I personally live in stockton, and bowl at pacific bowl, and travel to Sacramento to land park bowl. I know Jim(bowl400) puts on 3 tournaments a year, and they are always a blast. In fact he has one in may if youre interested in going. requirements are you have to be either Chinese/Japanese, have to bowl in a Chinese/Japanese league or you have to bowl with a Chinese/Japanese person.

Well, not quite...the rules do allow for any USBC member in good standing to participate in an AABA event, with the approval of the tournament committee.

The Cloverleaf tournament is always a good time, and the AABA events are *very* well run.  Hope to see you all there.

If you bowl at the Cloverleaf, you might persuade Doc Hollywood and Pchee2 to come out of hiding.

I bowl at Earl Anthony's in Dublin.  One of these days I mean to make it over to San Leandro to visit tenpinspro.

It would be hilarious to see Doc and PChee2 bowling again, but as far as I know, they gave up the game some time ago.

Doc and Pchee2 are extremely busy, but sometimes we can get them to throuw a couple of games and then go to lunch.  I'm going up to State in June I believe and maybe I can swing by and see if we can get them out to throw a couple.

Hey Nor Cal,

Pick a time and place bud and let's see who can make it, thanks.
