1. The Scratch Shootout Tournament is OPEN to all. ENTRANTS MUST HAVE A VALID USBC MEMBERSHIP CARD.
TOURNAMENT IS USBC CERTIFIED . MAXIMUM 2 PBA OR OTHER PROFESSIONAL ORGANIZATION ALLOWED PER TEAM.
2. Lanes are drawn for first game only. This entry is for the SCRATCH DIVISION.
3. Team maximum average must not exceed 680. Teams may be made up of any 3 bowlers whose total team average
does not exceed 680. Tournament is one division ONLY.
4. Total team scratch score for all SIX (6) games will determine where a team places in the Tournament. In the
event of a tie for 1st place the tied teams will share the prize fund for the position tied and the next position. PRIZE FUND IS
RETURNED 100%.
5. Bowlers will use verifiable 2010/11 averages as of April 15, 2011. If none, 2009/10 average. If none, 2008-09 average of 21 or more
games, If none, verifiable 2010 summer average is accepted. IF ALL YOU HAVE IS A SPORTS LEAGUE AVERAGE, YOU MUST
SUBMIT YOUR USBC ADJUSTED SPORTS BOWLING AVERAGE UTILIZING THE USBC AVERAGE ADJUSTMENT SCALE If
none, men will use 230, women will use 220. YABA averages NOT accepted. RULE 319E APPLIES FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS. RULE
319A3
(SUBMITTING INCORRECT AVERAGE) APPLIES. If your average has been adjusted, you must submit the adjusted average.
AVERAGES ARE VERIFIED ON BOWL.COM and we will use average as listed on bowl.com.
6. Team captains are responsible for team check-in. Corrections or changes to team roster or averages must be reported before
the start of the 1st game.
7. Substitutes or rearrangement of lineup is not allowed once the tournament begins. Any team or bowler arriving after
the start of tournament competition will receive zero scores for all frames missed.
8. Bowlers abusing bowling center equipment will be immediately disqualified from the tournament and forfeits any claims for
prize fund, side pots, refund, brackets, etc.
9. Tournament deadline is day of tournament . Check payments accepted until 2 weeks prior to tournament date. Fees and forms

10. In addition to above rules, USBC tournament rules will govern the operation of this tournament
11. The Scratch Shootout Tournament committee and Strikes Rocklin will NOT be responsible for accidents occurring before,
during and/or after any event of this tournament.
12. All tournament decisions made by tournament directors are final unless appealed in writing and adhered to USBC rules.
