Title: Sunset Lanes in Sparks, NV
Post by: bowl400 on December 08, 2008, 03:39:58 AM
Heard they closed.  Too bad, thought the new owner had a good thing going.  Anyone have any more info?

Greenbrae Lanes, Patriot Lanes, Sunset Lanes closed about 2-3 weeks ago. Most of the leagues moved either to Grand Sierra (previously the Reno Hilton) and Coconut Bowl.

Yeah it's a bad situation but that place never attracted much business, either due to its' relative age to other bowling centers or the shopping center management.

Mike had great intentions but bought a money pit...

That would be correct.

Dave also bought a money pit.
