I use this ball when there is ALOT of carry down and it drives right through it. The ball is drilled for max hook. It is a great ball to have especially if you bowl in tournaments. I recommend you get this ball. You won't be disappointed.

I started bowling about 2.5 years ago and the Power Charge is my 4rth bowling ball. I cant lift heavy stuff that well and I have a nagging shoulder injury so my Power Charge is only 11 lbs with simple convetional finger holes. I release with a little turn on the wrist- slow- medium speed. This ball has a really smooth carry down and I noticed that it is very good with lanes that getting weird. This ball can really hit hard even with slow speed. My highest score with this ball was 203. Now I need is another ball that does well on freshly oiled lanes to replace my Erase it and that would be the Super Charge.

I don't have this ball yet, but I can't keep quiet on what this lefty guy have achieved on my winter monday night league this year on using this ball. Lane condition is about medium oil with lots of carrydowns & somewhat dry heads. He just got 2 300's on a span of about 4 months & last monday night(2/23/04),he just scored his first & highest series of 855(279-297-279)Just looking at his achievements,I think, this is a great ball for it's price.I can't wait to get one of this.
Storm all the way!!!

Drilled pin above the ring finger CG kicked out right
Right handed bowler
Medium Revs, 18 MPH speed

Excellent dry lanes ball or short oil ball.  On a dry travel league condition this ball had no problem clearing the heads with a nice roll, not a skid-snap reaction for me.  Great carry, and hard hitting power.  I found the best time to throw this ball was when a deep inside shot was needed or the heads were completely toasted...plus it has a nice cherry smell..

This has quickly become one of my favorite Storm balls. I have drilled four of them and loved each one. This ball is great ball to have in your bag. This is not a ball that is your "first ball out of the bag", but is a great ball to have when the lanes begin to transition and your main ball starts hooking early and puking when it gets to the pocket. The Power Charge will get thru the heads clean and then store energy down the lane. Has great pop when it gets there. Each one I have drilled has had a longer pin thus I go with my favorite layout (4 3/4 x 4 1/4). Thus when I need to make a change I don't get a real wacky ball reaction but just a step under my main ball.

No matter how far I have ever had to get inside due to the lanes burning up I have no problem with this ball hitting. This is my go to ball when I need to play left of 4th arrow.

Again a great ball to have in ones arsenal. Every tourney bowler should have one.

I had recently purchased this ball and had just great results...My first couple of games were awful but then i got used to it...My 2nd week with the ball I shot 277 and 275 but not in the same series...Good ball but I had ending up sanding it for about 3 weeks and decided to polish it back up for good times sake then threw my first 700 and really nice 725! The layout is the pin right above my middle finger and the c.g is 3 inces below that...I have 15-16 revs and throw it about 14 m.p.h and at the end of my summer league i averaged 206 with it!

Lefty tweener (16-17 mph)
pin straight above and right between fingers
CG kicked left in palm
Factory finish

This ball doesn't even come close to reading the midlane or hooking up early.  Love the backend roll, which actually isn't a roll but more of a right turn.  Hits like a tank on house short to medium length patterns, but it hates long oil patterns.  You can throw it on sport (2 or 3 to 1) but usually not on fresh unless you can bump down your speed and let it read up a bit earlier.  Great ball for the price, can be versatile if you screw around with the cover.  If you're looking for a ball that will conserve some energy down the lane, pick one of these up.

righty, med rev, med axis tilt, med speed.
210-220 regular league ave, 180s sport shot ave.
15lb ball always.

This is by far my favorite ball i've ever had.  I got it drilled for high flair cause when i first started out like 5 years ago, i didn't put a lot of revs on the ball.  back then it was an okay ball, until i learned to keep my hand behind the ball and put some finger in it.  then it came alive like i couldn't believe.  I must of shot 10-12 279 or above games with it.

It slides though the heads and when it hits the back end, it comes in charging.  It revs up real nice down about midway down the lanes and comes off my hand like silk.  All around i have ZERO complaints about this ball.  It my ol' reliable that i can go to on any condition.
