Special Agent
« on: December 31, 1969, 06:00:00 PM »
Intelligence has reported that conditions are becoming increasingly volatile. The agency recognizes this threat and has constructed a new, super device - code name: Special Agentâ„¢. Our laboratory has taken the EMCâ„¢ weight block and has encased it with the next generation of the original Reactorâ„¢ coverstock - the new R2Sâ„¢ Solid Reactive. Specially formulated for medium- heavy oil, micro additives give the R2Sâ„¢ amazing traction and friction.

Combined, this device produces heavier roll that smoothes out the transition and generates an unstoppable reaction to the pocket. The agency is depending on you - DO NOT FAIL

I got this ball from a Ball League I bowled in last summer.  I finally got it drilled in March of this year after being nagged by one of my bowling buds.  I wished I had done it sooner.  Shot a game with it at the house I got it drilled and immediately realized this was the ball for me.  They had a block pattern down 47' and it walked into the pocket.  Also realized that oil is needed for this ball because it is hungry for it.  Shot league with it that following Wednesday and shot a 742!!!  My highest 3-game series yet.  This ball is great and will travel with me to the National Tournament in New Mexico this June.

Awesome ball! I bought this ball several weeks ago off ebay! I laid out this ball with the pin above and right of my ring finger and used a 50deg layout. The first week I used this I shot 279 and the ball reminds me of my Vertigo by how smooth it gets down the lane and has a strong finish at the break point. It's a few boards stronger than my Dimension, but the Dimension has the pin below my middle finger with a 50deg layout as well. Tonight in league I go to this ball in the tenth frame of the first game and hit the pocket every ball and either struck or got nine count. The last game the shot opened up and I roll twelve in a roll for a 300. I love how smooth this ball rolls, but still has that strong move at the break! Another great ball from the bowlers company from Utah: Storm/Roto Grip. Just my $.02, Bruce

Specs: 16.2 – 3.3 oz. top - 1.5" pin
Layout: Pin in palm with the pin moved 1” above the center of grip
Style: 18.6 mph – plenty of those RPM things
Surface: OOB – every once in a while I rub it with a real old 2,000 abralon to reduce the “oil shine”

I really did not want a ball with a pin this short but I could not say no to a Special Agent! Finding this ball has been a blessing in disguise as the specs influenced me to the layout. What I ended up with is a heavy rolling ball that does not quit. It’s fun watching the ball split the 8-9 like I am Atari Bowling. I have used it this ball on the great wall, carry down and late in tournaments when I am lofting the channel and need something that will stand up and make the right angle to carry. I am glad I picked up this “Classic Storm” now. Once my new Dimension is in hand, I’m leaning towards retiring this ball from any league play. I’ll get it out of the basement for tournament play.

I love this ball. I throw this ball down around the 5 board and it comes back with a sharp back end! This is my go to ball at any place!
