Left handed stroker with medium revs and medium ball speed.

I am pretty dissapointed with this ball.  I have seen many people throw this and it's a HOG, but for me, it is a dud.  However, it was one of the pro cg balls, so hopefully that was the problem.

It is drilled basically with a standard label leverage, not much else to do with it because how the pin, cg , mb are lined up, but the ball has a the MB in a strong position.

In the OOB surface, the ball reved up like crazy, but didn't make much of a move.  The move it did make was pretty weak and it's hit was even weaker.

I did get a better look with the OOB surface on a condition with more head oil, and clean back ends, but even then it wasn't doing too much.

I then took the ball down to 2000 abralon, and it does do a little more, but still not much.

I am dissapointed with this ball to say the least.  However, I do feel that it could hold a spot for tournament conditions that I run into.  With the 2000 Abralon finish, it grabs a little sooner, which allows it to be a little stronger, but still smooth.

I have yet to see a condition I could use this ball on full time, but will hold onto it for tournament purposes.

My suggestion...don't EVER buy a Pro CG ball EVER!

personal info in pro.
drilled up a 14 lb 4 oz Domination the other day. OOB finish
5 x 3 w/ a 3 inch pin buffer.
Definently one of the more angular balls I have thrown in recent days.
Tried it out an a typical 10:1 ratio on a 37 ft top hat.
Initial Impression - ball likes to skate right through the heads, pushes through the midlane and then revs up really strong on the back.
This is my first 14 pound ball in a while, just dropped weight due to wrist injury, and I would have to honestly say that my carry has been better.

Definently a winner if you are looking for something to open up the lane and a medium / medium-heavy shot.

I purchased this ball back last fall, and I got a chance to practice with it in two different houses. My Domination was drilled 6" X 4" (pin to PAP X RAD to PAP) placing the pin above the middle finger and the RAD very strong. I also had an X-hole drilled on the midline 5" from grip center.

My thanks go to Mike Corum of Empire Pro Shop at Southwyck Lanes in Toledo, Ohio. He drilled me a true, long-lasting winner of a ball!

I was looking for versatility, combining a strong dynamic ball with a weak pin drilling. Well, the Storm Paradigm Domination fit the bill! On the house shot, I could play inside and bump the crown, or I could swing it out to the channel and watch it come back strong. The drilling gave me flare control, allowing a clean run through the heads with a strong move in the back.

The Domination has also been a great performer during the PBA Experience. I can use this ball on the Viper, Chameleon, and Scorpion patterns. Of the three, it did the best on the Scorpion...

I was able to shoot my twelfth career 300 game back in November. It was, however, my first with an asymmetrical ball; my first with a 6" pin drilling!

For me, it is a significant breakthrough with mass bias equipment. This ball is truly a Paradigm!

Storm Paradigm Domination

Pin to CG Distance 2.5-3"
Topweight - around 3 oz.

Layout 5x3 - Pin above ring finger and RAD in B position.

Reaction - Clean thru front, late midlane read and hard arc/ angular backend reaction.

Comments:

It took a while to figure this ball out, but it was definitely worth it when I did.  Even with this tame drilling, this ball has more backend reaction than any ball I've ever thrown provided it gets to the breakpoint with burning up too much energy.  I found that on the fresh league shot, this ball is a monster on the down and in line around the 8-10 board.  This usually works for the first game.  As the lanes break down instead of overhooking, this ball starts to roll out and quit, leaving alot of flat tens.  This started happening sooner once I broke the coverstock in a little bit.  The good thing about this ball with this drill is that it's very resonsive to hand position changes.  I move in a put a little more tilt on the ball, it stores energy and turns the corner hard enough to start kicking the corner pins out again.  It's pretty versatile and I can use it on pretty much all conditions but the extremes.  This ball also doesn't like carrydown very much.

In summary, this ball can be played down and in as long as there's enough oil to get it to a reasonable breakpoint.  When the heads start to break down, it's time to change hand positions, move left and "send it and bend it".  This ball is at it's best when the lanes start to dry out and you can open up the lane a little bit.  I liked this ball much better than the original Paradigm because of it's angularity and versatility.

I love this ball!!!

I've been bowling for almost 2 years and the Domination so far is the best ball in my arsenal. My average has gone up to a 211. I've bowled in 2 PBA Regionals. The second one that I bowled,I used the Domination and averaged 215 over 13 games. I've shot a 299 with this ball and my high series of a 757. Not bad for a 2 year bowler. Awesome ball. Smashes pocket and great carry. Specially those nice trip 4 pins.

Drilled: 4 1/2" from PAP
         MB at 55 degrees w/ a 2 1/2" pin buffer

Thumb under drilling 2-3 in pin.  Used the original paradigm, and liked it, but was too heavy.  Moved to a Domination when I couldn't find a lighter Paradigm.  The Domination is a very good ball.  It picks up a lot of revs and speed in the dry and smacks the pins. I start with less reactive balls and as carrydown goes up, I switch to this ball.  I feel very comfortable throwing it out 40 wide that it will come back hard.  Ball speed about 14.

Fantastic ball. This is the strongest ball on the backend that I have ever thrown. The reactor coverstock and Rad+ core match up perfectly. Can be used on med-heavy oil conditions when alot of recovery on the backends in needed. I would highly recommend this ball to anyone looking for a ball to push through the lane and save all energy for the backend.
