This is my first time making a post on one of these sites. I feel I am at a high enough level experience and results-wise to make posts. I throw the bowling ball around 16.5-17 MPH with medium to above avg revolutions. I use many different hand positions from forward roll to max side roll. I drilled up an Atomic Charge classic leverage weight (3 3/8 x 3 3/8) with a weight hole. This is the same drilling I had on a Depth Charge which I left behind at an out of state tournament. Anyhow, the ball was uncommonly SMOOTH rolling (polished) without an over-reacting move in the backs on a fresh shot (Playing 16 to 10). However, forward roll was needed to get proper pin carry with the screaming backends. As the backs tightened up, more tilt (side roll) was necessary to score well. I was surprised to see this ball has only been reviewed two times. I use this bowling ball in an old center with wood lanes and alot of hook. I shot 763 and 717 and won the Break the Bank ($1000 jackpot) using this ball in the past 2 weeks. The ball gave me a tremendous carry percentage AND forgiveness on a few less-than-well thrown balls. Drill one up ASAP.

"Stay Focused and Make the Shot"

I purchased this ball about a month ago, so I wanted to wait to see how well the ball performed before I posted a review. This ball is an underrated ball. The Coverstock/Core combination makes this ball strong,smooth and predictable. I keep the ball at 800 matte and this takes care of Med-Heavy Oil and carrydown. The pin carry is excellent including light hits, and the drive to the pocket is non-stop. I would recommend this ball to anyone, especially all my STORM people.

"How do I roll a strike?"

As many of you know, I only throw one companies balls, STORM.

This ball is amazing to say the least.  I can honestly say it is STRONGER than my XXX.  I have the ball in box finish, drilled with pin right below ring finger and CG swung out to the right.  This ball is a MONSTER.  The first time I used this ball was at a tournament this past weekend.  It was the Southern Bowling Association annual Southern Tournament held here in Memphis this year.  I usually stand about 18 on my strike ball and throw 12 to 7.  I had to move out to 27 and throw 20 to 7 to handle this one.  The backend doesn't stop.  No matter how wide I throw it, this ball makes a move.  I usually have a problem with a ball not coming up at all if I get it out too wide.  Not this one.  I bowled 6 games at the tournament and averaged 190ish with never using this ball before.

I then took the ball to my PROBLEM house for some Sunday practice.  This house was NOT a problem that day.  I averaged 220 over 4 or 5 games.  One of the games could have been a 300, really.

This is going to be my new first out of the bag ball.

LOOKING FOR A TEAM TO GO TO NATIONALS WITH.  I WANT TO BOWL ALL EVENTS.

Alright, here it goes. I'm a tweener, 15.5 - 16.5 mph with a medium-high amount of revs on my bowling ball. I'm a VERY accurate bowler. On a suggestion from a friend I bought this ball to complement my Recharge, drilled it to get it maxed out, and I LOVE IT. I can get this ball over the 25, out to the five, and get it to come into the pocket and put ten in the pit. Very controllable, and predictable hook. I would recommend this to ANYONE. VERY good ball.

This ball is indeed predictable... I had my Atomic Charge drilled pin below the bridge 5" from PAP, CG on midline just right of grip center, MB between thumb and strong (medium length with an arcing backend).  No finger grips were employed; just the thumb slug...

With the selected layout, the Atomic Charge has a strong arc and predictable roll.  I can play between 10 and 15 without the early jump in the heads. Apart from leaving a few flat 10-pins, the power and carry is very strong.  I ended up shooting a 741 in practice this past Sunday with games of 231, 244, and 266.
This ball should do fine on normal league conditions.

I am currently waiting for a second X-Factor Vertigo for heavy carrydown (my first being for the soup).  By the fall, I should have the strongest arsenal that I've ever owned...

Behind the approaching front, the perfect Storm is about to be unleashed...

Bought this ball about a month ago. Tweener here throw about 17.00 - 17.15 mph. Ball drilled with pin just to the right of the ring finger cg kicked out and mass bias on PAP. Ball is great for medium oily. However ball tends to due well on heavy but carrying is an issue for me on heavier oils lanes. I just currently got back into bowling from about a year and a half off. Great ball to come back too. Drilled an extra hole to take alittle side weight off other then that I do leave some ten pins. Probably not the ball just the operater ;o). Good thing I like about this ball is that is revs up early and is controlable. Give it an 8 out of 10.
