This ball is a good complement to my Screamin' Banshee.  I think the Ragin' Banshee will go down as one of the best-ever balls made by Storm Products, Inc.

Set up this ball with a 5 1/8" X 4 5/8" drilling:  pin under bridge, CG 1" from grip center in the positive thumb quadrant, MB between strong and VAL.  I also had the surface matted to about 1000-grit to eliminate the over/under reaction.  My thanks to Mike Corum's Empire Pro Shop at Southwyck Lanes for this rock.

Even with the sheened surface and the strong mass bias setting, the Ragin' Banshee gets through the heads clean on the house shot with strong arc and continuous backend reaction (a very readable ball from start to finish).  I like how it clears the rack with very little deflection.  Versus the Atomic Charge, the Ragin' Banshee has more of the backend continuation that I'm looking for when I am playing up the boards.  Fewer 10-pin leaves are a plus!

I have yet to try this ball on the Sport shot, but another review may be pending!  The dynamics and coverstock combination of the Ragin' Banshee make it seem like a great choice for Sport bowlers.

Overall, I am extremely happy and confident about this ball.  This Banshee should be in every Storm bowlers arsenal.  I'm not sure if it's THE perfect Storm, but it is a must-have for both crankers and strokers on normal league patterns.

Behind the approaching front, the perfect Storm is about to be unleashed...

OK, firstly I'm right-handed and twist it up. (Circa 450 RPM @ pocket I'm told by a reputable pro shop operator from Buffalo who was in Australia for Brunswick.) Lane surface was AMF synthetic, holiday shot down, so pretty dry.

I laid this ball out for over/under. Pin above ring finger 4½" pin-PAP,4" CG-PAP, OOB surface. The first time I tried it, it just rolled out, but that's OK, the lanes were toast and a Super Sport I drilled at the same time was happening.

The next time I went out and played 20 out to 7ish (@45ft) with a straighter/softer hand. WOW! Shot 974/4. The coverstock reads beautifully. No horrendo-flip motion here. The carry was very convincing, with a couple of blistering messengers, but not one ringing 10 pin. A couple of soft 10's, but from pilot error.

I cannot fault this offering from Storm. I'm looking forward to giving it a whirl on some head oil, where I can hopefully store a little more energy.

Picked this ball up on ebay...15lbs. NIB 3.5 in pin 3 oz top. Didn't know much about this ball prior to drilling it up except that it was particle pearl. Drilled it pin under my middle finger and cg kicked out with a weight hole in the lower quadrant in line with pin and cg.

My hopes for this ball: I wanted to use it on later squads and when the backends are hooking too much.

We started our PBA experience league Monday (cheetah pattern) and I thought this would be a great ball. Boy did it turn out that way. Threw the Ragin Banshee up 4 after about 2 games (4 game set) It was very controllable and didn't over-react. It stored all its energy for the pins. I did leave some corner pins with it especially when I hit 5 at the arrows. (just a little hang spot) But other than that I am very happy with the layout and performance on this particular pattern.
