Street Fight
« on: October 12, 2016, 04:23:24 PM »
The Storm Street Fight has a larger than normal core with the Iron Cross weight block. This core creates greater energy transmission through the pins because it is able to store more energy and bust through the pin deck. This bowling ball introduces the R4S Pearl Reactive coverstock. The technology in this cover was created to match the level of technology in the core. This ball is ready to not just fight, but Street Fight!

COMMENTS

Being a lower to med speed player, I was a big fan of the original Storm Fight. It's length and predictable shape was great for me. The only downside, and the chief complaint I heard from other bowlers as a PSO, was the balls overall strength. Storm definitely addressed that problem with the Street Fight. I drilled the Street Fight with the same layout as my Fight and was amazed to see so much overall motion.

The predictable downlane shape that I liked to much from my Fight was still there, but the Street Fight definitely covers more boards. I was always amazed at how clean the Fight was for a solid, the Street Fight is the same but backwards. The amount of midlane read you get with this Pearl Coverstock is incredible. I throw this ball on the fresh more than any Pearl I've owned. It's Med to Med High overall hook makes it a great value at its price point and I love the way this ball carries. The pins explode off the deck. The Iron Cross core is getting to be one of my all time favorites and the R4S reactive with the 3000 grit sheen finish really powers this ball up!

This ball is useful across so many patterns I think everyone should give it a try.

I drilled my Street Fight up pin up at 65* by 5 by 35*. I left the Street Fight in box surface to throw. I get an even reaction from the Street Fight. I was able to use this as a ball down option from my original Fight and got more length and later back end motion from the Street Fight. I also used the Street Fight on flatter and tougher patterns where I wanted to keep my target in front of me. Drill one up for more length than the original Fight.

Likes:  overall smooth reaction, great hitting power, versatile, cool color scheme

The Storm Stree Fight is Storms newest Thunder Line release.  The ball contains the Iron Cross core and is covered with the R4S cover stock.  The Street Fight is finished 3000 grit Sheen finish which gives it a duller look which really blends the reaction.
I drilled my Street fight with my favorite layout.  The pin is above the middle finger with the CG kicked right of my palm.  I wanted a ball that could be my new bench mark ball.  The strength of this ball plus the motion has made this ball one of my favorites.  The Street fight handles oil decently but it would much rather deal with medium and shorter patterns with less volume.  The sheen finish really blends the reaction and gives it a smooth reaction off the breakpoint.
I recommend this ball for a bowler who is looking for that next great benchmark go to ball.  I think this ball could be drilled with many different layouts and would perform exactly how you want it.  I think you could shine it up or dull it down to give you different reactions as well.  There is not many balls out there that you can say that about.

I have found this ball to be very useful towards the end of a tournament. Typically beginning around game 4 and on. I have mostly used this ball on sport conditions and it gives me great length and control at the breakpoint. This ball is very predictable and has great hitting power similar to the original Fight.
