This ball fills the gap between over reactive mid-performance and lame-hitting low performance. Dispurses backend power after breezing through broken heads. On drying conditions, this ball gives control and power. That's all you need.

At the suggestion of Stormylane I drilled up one of these little critters.

Specs were 2-1/2" pin, 3.4 top weight

I wanted a ball that would handle drier but not puke if it hit a little oil so I chose a 4x4 pattern with the CG slightly above the midline. The pattern looks like a label leverage or 1:30 label shift drill.

Well I must say this ball is awesome. Everything else I have is too strong to play right of the wall and there is too much dry to bounce the ball off when playing deep.

I can stand about 22 and throw 15 to 7 with this ball and it is fantastic. If I tug it a little it'll sit on the wall and leave me maybe a single pin. If I toss it out the ball will check up early but not as drastically as my Trauma or Cherry Pearl. I even have a little leeway with my release point.

If you need a ball for drier than your Too Hot and don't want ti give up hit,try this ball. You will like it.

Great dry lane ball. I have it drilled with the pin in the track. Shell is out of the box. 1500 polished I believe. This is a perfect ball and drilling for anyone with alot of hand who has a hard time managing the break point when the heads are gone. The ball makes a nice gentle move to the pocket and I don't get any over-under. Rolls over the thumb hole when they are really fried, but that just slows the hook a bit more. Great ball, great price.

I have this ball drilled 4 x 3 1/2. Pin is
1 1/4 inches right of my ring finger, and CG
is between my span directly under pin. Balance
hole is 3 1/2 inches right of CG. I do not like
this ball, because in my hands it seems to roll
out to easily. When it does hook it hits like a
ton of bricks. It has an asymmetrical core due to
the offset puck. I have had not much luck with
asymmetrical equipment. I was bowling on medium dry
lanes with strong backends. I have above ave revs
and medium speed (14-15 mph). I think this ball is
of great quality and could be great in the right hands,
those hands aren't mine though. In fact if anyone
a 14 lb Big Hit Solid let me know. It has 6 games on it
and the coverstock is unaltered.

16lbs. pin 3" from CG above and equidistant to both fingers. Medium speed Tweener.
I bought this ball to combat second shift dry synthetic lanes. This ball, even with a mild drilling, has been way too strong. I've polished the heck out of it, and it still hooks. Granted this ball gives me slightly more control than my other equipment, but not much. I'm still covering a lot of boards. It stays on line until it hits the break point then JUMPS across the lane. I decided a couple of weeks ago to throw it without any axis tilt, and have had much more success with it. I'm able to control the break point and this ball still HITS. I've not had any trouble with ten pins with this ball. Mine doesn't deflect that much. If I hit the pocket it's usually an 8 or 9 pin that I leave. A very strong ball, for what's supposed to be one of the weaker balls in their lineup.
I do love the way this ball hits when I get it to the pocket.
On a fresh house pattern, this ball would be awesome, but for dry lanes, maybe the hit sparkle, or Ebo's Tornado

ball was given to me by a friend. I absolutly love it. I use it on medium oil shot because the ball isn't supposed to hook but it does for me. I could throw the ball for weeks at a time and contuely bowl great with it. pin is left of the fingers and weights 15.3

I got this ball to play pretty strait, around 10-6 with a nice smooth arc tot he pocket. Well this is not it. I took it to the lanes (typical house shot 10-10) threw it over the 10 board out to 5 or 6 with good length and wham I hooked past the head pin. I tried it again thinking I may have thrown a bad shot or something and the same thing happened. I moved in played 15-2 and was in the whole pretty much all night after that. This ball is alot stronger than advertised although still a good ball. It goes long and has a very strong arc to it. If you are looking for a ball that will hook and will not cost much go with this ball.

This my re-review. I've had this ball for over a year now.
The reaction has tamed down quite a bit. But the ball still HITS hard and drives the pocket. It now gives me better control on the dry lanes, which is what I bought it for.

I am 14 and was looking for a ball to begin with. I wanted something with a little bit of hook to where as i could just learn from...I think i found the perfect ball. The ball hooks tons more than advertised for me and i am very impressed actually i orderd the hit and they sent me the big hit instead and that is one of the best mistakes i have. I have seen this ball hook little on oily conditions but with proper spin you'll get a lot of hook with this great begginer ball of maybe spare ball for you big time spinners out there

and i also bought this in 13 lb so i didnt prefer pin position or drilled holes just what the house thought best and he made it the best
