Had this ball drilled up by Mike Miller(PBA)at "10 Pins and More" in Rio Rancho, NM. Ball started out weighing 15lbs 3 oz with 3 oz top weight before drilling and a 3" pin. Laid ball out with pin just above the bridge(Right-Hander), RAD swung out 1/2" right of thumb, x-weight hole, polished up to 1200.
Threw ball on my typical house shot 38' buffed to 45' Synthetic up and around the 10 board(see profile for style), there is OB outside the 5 board. My benchmark ball is a XXX-Factor drilled pin above fingers and RAD swung out 1/2" right of thumb with comparable top weight as the Trifecta and I can tell you that on this shot the Trifecta easily outhooked it by a minimum of 10 boards to start and tamed down to about 8 boards difference after 12 games of practice. The ball is very aggressive throughout the entire lane. No matter how hard I tried, it was very difficult to get this ball to blow by the 1-3 pocket. If the ball got out too far it would come flying back, if I pulled it it would try to hold the line but it was way too aggressive and would cross over. Starting with the XXX my equipment increases in hook by roughly 2 boards per ball, next in line the Vertigo-Polished(actually 4 boards more than the XXX, then my OOB Vertigo and then the Trifecta, even polished outhooks the 2 Vertigo's.

IMHO this ball is a great addition to the X-Factor line if you need an "OILER"

Had ball drilled aggressive, 4x4, as I am a med rev, med speed bowler.

Absolutely love this ball!!!! Bowled on standard house shot. With clean back ends will always come back and hits hard. When I pulled the ball I did pay for it with a split. Ball would try and hold in the oil and then snap through the nose. If ball sent too far right still carried. When oil moved down had to move back right, but still hit with great force. Carried every pocket shot except for one 7-10 split. Only shot 667 first set with ball, but I think that there is some great scores in my future with this ball.

This ball for me is probably one of the top two storm balls i've ever owned. most of the other particle balls i've thrown were hook at your feet do nothing at the back reactions. The trifecta reads the fronts and mids with ease, then sets up for a strong continous arc on the backend. on my ths, i could play an up the boards shot around 7-8 board with a lot of speed, or move in anywhere from 10-15 board and send it to 7-8 board on the back.

The trifecta i think will work for most all styles, with the appropriate drilling of course. i will be using it tonight on my thursday league. they run a 41' pattern, very heavy in the middle, with the oil line moved out to about 4. i'll repost to let you know how it does. i give the trifecta a grade of 9.5, a very great ball!

Huge ball from Storm.  Got it used from my brother who drilled a 4-5" upside down.  Plugged it and drilled pin high, cg in line above thumb hole.  Had STUPID thumb weight, drilled a crater 2" parellel to my thumb.  I can't really write an intelligent review about the ball because of this unique drilling, but the ball is nice for FLOODED heads, smooth off of the dry.  Really like the ball and would like to throw a "normal" piece, can't see how anyone could go wrong with this ball

Drilled this ball with the pin just below my ring finger and kicked the cg out some, and put an xtra hole about 5' over and an inch or so down.  Kept box surface on it and rolled terrible!  I could not get to the hole to save my life.  The ball hooked so early it was unbelievable.  Tried sanding it and then polishing it and did not do a thing to it.  I threw this ball for about 10 games tops and am glad to see it go.  Players with higher speeds have been liking this ball.

I got this ball about 7 months ago and right when i drilled it it hooked so so much i would have said it was to aggressive but now it tamed a little bit and i shot my first 278 game in league and my first 700 with this ball! At the time i had a 320 degree polish on it and it went down and in with a bite on the backend now i have it matte to get a arc on the backend and it does This ball is really versatile great ball

This one has been sitting in the shop since day one that it came out. I'm glad I got my hands on this one when I did. I drilled it up to give me an option on shorter patterns as well as drier house shots. This ball was a monster. It just revs and revs and revs for 40 feet and smoothly archs into the pocket. With the RAD mass bias in my track... this ball hits so hard. INCREDIBLE pin carry. The only problem with it is that if you push it out, it revs up on the dry and goes through the nose. Great ball.
