RG Differential: 0.046 (Medium Flare) on a scale of .000-.080 Low Flare-High Flare
RG Average: 2.48 (Very Low) on a scale of 2.43-2.80 Very Low-High Break Point
Recommended Lane Conditions: Medium to Heavy Oil

COMMENTS

I have had two Gravity Shifts. 

Ball #1 was drilled pin 5'' from PAP (pin over bridge), MB 6'' from PAP (this put my MB left of my thumb, I am a right hander). The reason for this drill was it was a "Pro CG" ball, and this was our only real option to keep it legal. The reaction I got from this ball was a unique one, and I would call it more condition specific rather than a "benchmark ball".  The pin over bridge layout gave me great length through the front, similar to my Rapid Fire, but that is where the comparisons stop. While the Rapid Fire would make a sharp move and continue going left, the Gravity Shift set up in the midlane and rolled out, giving me a true hook/set reaction. This was useful when my angles were closed, either going up the gutter or playing a fade shot from 6th arrow. The thing I liked about this ball was even though the ball rolled out, I rarely suffered carry problems, even from the deep inside line. I had a Whirlwind that gave me a very similar reaction, but could never carry with it.  





 



Ball #2 was drilled pin 4.5'' from PAP (pin over ring), MB 3.5'' from PAP (this put my MB about 2'' right of my thumb). I also kept this ball at 2000 abralon, as opposed to the box finish. This ball gave me an earlier read than Ball #1 with more motion down lane. I would consider this to be more of a benchmark ball, as I could use it on a variety of patterns. Again compared to my Rapid Fire (drilled pin over bridge), this ball started about 2 feet earlier and was about 5 boards stronger overall.
