I need some extra hole advice...
« on: January 27, 2010, 01:42:58 PM »
Hi everyone. I have a 15 lb storm original hot rod with a 3 1/4 inch pin with the pin right under the ring with the cg on top of the thumb hole and a pinch to the right. Well, it does role really smooth, but I would like it to rev up just a little easier than it does. So what size of weight hole should I use and where should I put it? My pap is 5 1/2 over by 3/8's up. Currently it has 1/2 ounce side and 1/2 ounce thumb weight.

P4 position is probably what you're looking for, but will depend on what you can do, while keeping it legal.

Hi Adrenaline, thanks for the info. I have looked at the morich extra hole guide and was possibly thinking an extra hole in the p3 spot. However, I am still not sure though, it's not like I want the ball to hook more, just rev up a bit easier.

Go with the P3 then.  I put a P4 on my BW Bite and it made a pretty big difference.  I added a P3 to my Creature because I needed a bit more flare (opened up the flare rings more than anything) but didn't want to change the general character of the ball.  Start relatively small (1/2-5/8") and go bigger if you want.

Thanks Strider. that's kind of what I am leaning to is the hole in the p3 spot. I am going to talk to my driller and see what he thinks and go from there.
