Regardless it's a good ball, you see mallot use it quite a bit on TV, which probably means it's used during the tournament? And probably means other pros ask for it too?

If it's going to be a remake, they're going to do it just like the Marvel Pearl.  I don't think the IQ 30 was that popular because it WASN'T the "gold ball."  If they re-release it, it will be the same ball.  I wouldn't think they'd do another special edition or something.

This ball was the best example of shelf appeal trumping everything else. Every company tried to follow suit with their "Goldie". Rhino Pro Gold, GB "Gold", Widow Gold, Honey Badger, 2 Lord Field/Legends balls.

Consider me a sucker I guess, but I'd probably get 2.  My current one has some mileage on it but the cover still is in excellent condition.  At 2000 it's been superb on flatter conditions and I've brought it up to 4000 for house conditions.  Just a good match up for me personally and very versatile. 

My findings as well; It's MONEY for me on anything at 2000.  I also agree with other companies' Emulating the original gold ball as well; Although for the most part, they all have come and gone.

I still have my original, and pulled it out the last game when everything else was going high, and BANG, couldn't miss the pocket.   Gold ball will never leave my bag.

I agree. The HB is WAY better ball than the IQ Tour Pearl. Cleaner, more angular, works amazingly good with a duller surface and it is way cheaper than the IQ.

And on top of that, the HB won't crack... 

HB is obviously much higher RG but tend to agree and love mine.  IQ Tour Solid though is the greatest no tap ball in the history of bowling.  That ball carries me when I bowl no tap (should have put graphic on side of ball like the Radical Score but with 9/ 9/ 9/9 lol).  Since I rarely do sport shots that is about the only time it gets to see competition though. If I was to spend $150+ on another IQ I would go for the fusion instead of the pearl and maybe even instead of the solid if had a do over.
