They are not at all similar. Your PSO or knowledgeable bowling friend would be a good resource to have a further discussion. If your game isn't a good match for one or the other, they could help you make that decision before you put your money down.
That said, those 2 balls would definitely bring 2 different reactions and strengths to your game. And they certainly will both be different than your Hectic.
