How come I'm not reading much about the Passion?
« on: May 10, 2006, 01:15:13 AM »
There were only about 5 ball reviews and I think one on buddies bowling ball reviews.  Did the Passion not sell like the orginal Paridigm (sp?)

Can someone give me a little info on the ball other then the one Storm has on its website?

Thank you.

I think it is just because Storm held back the initial production batch after cracking problems with the Paradigm. Very unlucky timing of incidents. As far as I know, "new" Passions are delivered and available now, and reviews and comments might trickle in now. Nevertheless, I think the Paradigm quality problems made buyers/users cautious, maybe many people are just waiting (like you)?

Same thing as dizzyfugu said...and...the release of the Agent has created a lot of craze.  Look forward to either more reviews of the Agent or more anticipation of the new Paradigm.

This doesn't tell you much about the ball but the it's beating everything but the Battle(tied) as the best heavy oil ball.

I have one in the shop I'm going to drill today.  I just got it so I hope its from the new batch.

I didn't like where Lane1 was going with all the pearl long ball and flip and needed something for a little more oil and not so darn flippy.  I track a litle low so matte bowling balls work better for me on any lane condition with oil.  I guess I could learn to bowl and change my release to raise my track, but I hope that something like the Passion will fill my void in my Lane 1 arsenal.

Thanks for the feedback.

It's a great ball that handles heavy oil very effectively.  I own both of the Paradigm's and would not leave home without either one...
