2 ball fall arsenal
« on: August 12, 2007, 09:42:52 AM »
I'm joining a league with my friend and im looking to buy a ball or 2 for a THS. all i have now is a n old columbia 300 dont know name and a white dot spare. im a stroker player with 12-15 mph ball speed and low revs. i like playing down an in anywhere from 10th to 5th board. i was thinking maybe a secret agent for med-heavy then maybe a spit fire, fired up,T road pearl or the sure fire when it comes out. i want something controllable and versatile. looking for the best 2 ball combo to cover almost all oil condition on a THS. also should i be worried about storm balls cracking. and how to reduce risk if cracking.

First off, don't worry about cracking. If you want something smooth, I'd go with the Secret Agent. To go under that, I'd try a Spit Fire.

I would go with a t-road solid and t-road pearl, they both compliment each other.

I second walter56,  TRoad Pearl and Solid would make a great 1-2 punch.  The TRoad Pearl is one of the most versatile and controllable balls I've ever thrown and the Solid has the same cover as the Special Agent, so it will handle the oil just fine.  I wouldn't worry about Storm balls cracking, I have several (see profile for details) and I had the T-Road Pearl for a while and it's fine.  The cracking was mostly with the Paradigms and the Paradigm Passions that had a different coverstock and was isolated to a manufacturing defect.

That would be a cool arsenal to have actually.  I wouldn't mind it myself...
