Hi All,
I'm proud to present to you The Rapid Fire Pearl Video from Storm.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hM9S1yrpXFE
My Take on the ball:
Can you say sideways?? I couldnt believe the move this thing made off the dry...on the Typical House Shot i was forced inside of the Rapid Fire Solid because this thing sniffs friction and goes left...
I think this is the most angular move i have seen from storm to date...BUT the nice part about it is it makes the move consistently, it wasnt erratic at all, i knew when i got it to the dry boards it was going to move
the solid and pearl seem like they are going to make a heck of a 1-2 punch...be careful tho, as with most pearls, on too much oil it will skate!
Another Winner from storm!
As always comments and questions are welcome

Wow what a strong and consisted move to the pocket. Very strong for a pearl ball.

The Rapid Fire Pearl seems to be a better Fired Up. Very cool - I really need a consistent skid-snap ball in my bag...

Does anyone know the release date of the ball?
-
Holy sideways!

I believe both the RF pearl & the Dimension are slated for June 24. I know that's the date that Bowlingball.com has for them.

I e-mailed storm last night and they said officially released on the 24th. Wooo it can't come quicker!

In terms of angularity, Britton would you say that the Rapid Fire Pearl having a more angular backend when compared to a Black Widow Pearl?

Yes, most definetly...while the black widow pearl was angular, it was more of a controlled angle...the rapid fire pearl for me is just downright violent

How would you say the length and backend compare to a Paradigm Domination?

I never threw the doimination personally, but i have seen some thrown locally...i think the backend is more than a domination

I am trying to decide between the Street Rod Pearl and the Rapid Fire Pearl, how would compare these two to each other and the Agent?
These are two completly different looks...the street rod is longer and smoother off the spot than the rapid fire pearl...the street rod pearl gives me controlled angle in the dryer parts of the lane, while the rapid fire pearl needs some oil to push it down lane before it makes that huge move...
I have never thrown an agent...sorry

I'm thinking of a new toy to go with my Sure Fire. I was thinking T-Road Pearl, but this ball looks kind of similar reaction-wise. If there isn't really that much of a difference, I'll opt for the T-Road since they're cheaper at my local shop. Input, anyone?
