2 ball setup
« on: November 07, 2007, 12:06:19 AM »
Guys i throw the ball about 16mph on average, with medium revs.  I am right handed and bowl mainly in league.  On house is usually medium to medium heavy and the other is wood with light to medium oil.  Looking for two balls to cover these conditions.  ANy suggestions.

I'd recommend a Special Agent and a Spit Fire. The Special would handle the med-heavy and maybe a fresh medium condition. The Spit Fire should be able to handle medium to medium-dry.

There was a similar post to yours not too long ago. You can see what recommendations other people had in that post: http://www.ballreviews.com/Forum/Replies.asp?TopicID=177336&ForumID=13&CategoryID=2

Wow, there's many answers to this question.  Like the old adage "There's more than one way to skin a cat."  Probably why there isn't too many replys yet.  I have a Shift & Special Agent in my bag.  The Shift you could use on your wood lanes & when the lanes break down on the other lanes.  The Special Agent would work well on the oiler lanes.  A lot of nights I only use my Shift, but that's probably because I can use it on fresh Medium & adjust during the 2nd & 3rd games inward with it.  Depends on how the ball feels off my hand in practice. Every body has different styles & layouts though & may not work the same for each other.  Also depends on how much you want to spend!!
