I am thinking of building a 16lbs storm arsenal. I was considering a troad solid for the heavier patterns and a rapid fire for the lighter patterns and drilling up an gravity skid/flip any thoughts or suggestions would be a tremendous amount of help!

I think a rapid fire would be too strong for lighter patterns. I have one and its a pretty agressive ball. I think you would be better off looking at a lower price point for a ball to cover light oil.

For THS
Gravity
Surefire
TRoad Pearl
Ice
For tournaments when you encounter heavy oil, I would add an Attitude or T Road Solid
For dry to light oil, I would add a Tropical or possibly the new Street Rod Pearl.

I think a rapid fire would definitely be too strong for lighter conditions.
For THS:
Gravity Shift
Sure Fire
Street Rod Pearl
Ice Storm

TRoad Pearl to go with the TRoad Solid and your set. Okay, you can keep the Gravity for skip/flip.
