Drilling Advice for HyRoad
« on: April 10, 2009, 08:29:20 AM »
I am about to order a HyRoad. I am looking for a smooth arc to the pocket, as opposed to the skid flip that I get with my gravity shift drilled 4x4 with the pin up and to the right of my ring finger.

Should I go with the same set up on a HyRoad with about a 3-4 inch pin, 2-3 oz top weight drilled 4x4, or something else, maybe 5X3, or a longer pin rico drilled.

I am looking for control and a go to ball after the first game when the oil is pushed out of the front of the lane and the backends are too snappy for the gravity shift.

Thanks for your input.

I have a RICO'd HyRoad for this need and it works awesome. The huge weight hole required of the layout gives the HyRoad's core a bit of asymmetry. I kept mine OOB and love it.
