Jolt Pearl...what to expect
« on: May 05, 2007, 02:03:52 AM »
I am getting in a Jolt pearl next weekend, at the advice of Jeff Carter(Thanks Jeff!). Basically, I am looking for something when the track area burns up, or I want to play strait up the lanes on a THS, or a strong backend type of condition. I don't know how its going to be drilled(I rely on my proshop for this) but since the core isn't terribly strong, I would guess the surface would be the most important factor.

Any Opinions?

I keep mine OOB Highly Polished, but I also have the pin under ring, cg kicked out.

The ball loves the dry.

My opinion would be keep it at OOB, or slightly polished, and this will be good for Medium to Dry lanes.

Watch that accu-tred cover.  It can be sneaky strong.  Same cover as was on the original trauma and eraser.  Two of the all time best storm balls out there.
