Cleaner for an Attitude
« on: February 24, 2008, 03:54:15 AM »
I have an attitude with about 70 games on it.  I use a cheap basic cleaner i bought from the proshop for everyday use, but I have definately seen a difference in reaction since i first bought the ball.  Any recommendations on a non-everyday cleaner that should help get back that new ball reaction.

I havn't had it baked or rejuved yet, so I am hoping some cleaning product would help.  (The recommendation does not have to be a storm product)

i second the clean n dull i put that on mine and its a really good product, its on all of my dull balls

and if you use normal ball cleaner on a dull ball it will eventualy start to shine up your ball (thats what happened to mine)

If the Attitude is dull R2S solid like my Special Agent, Clean N' Dull is magical coverstock juice and every now and then be sure to re-Abralon the thing back to your preferred surface.

I don't have an Attitude Shift but I believe it has the same cover as my other stuff.

LOL.  I believe it is Ebonite now?  It will return your ball to dull pimping status.  If not, it is time to get your pro shop to Abralon that guy if you don't have your own spinner.

Coverstock     R2S Solid  Reactive
Ball Finish   2000-grit Abralon

Its a dull ball, its not the dullest ball ive seen, but its definately not polished.  I have it at its original surface.  So clean and dull would work?

I dont have a ball spinner and i dont have abalron pads.  How many games do you bowl before you start refreshing the surface?  My pro shop charges quite a bit for this!
