2nd Dimension.....
« on: June 09, 2009, 02:50:15 PM »
...is freakin awesome!!!  Rolls great, hits great.  worked really well on a tight Shark Pattern on Brunswick synthetics.

Pin on the bridge, between the fingers, slightly above.  Cg out to the right, about 60 degrees, no hole.  Pin is 4 1/2 from PAP.  This is one of my "default" layouts.

Think I'm getting another one, different layout and some Abralon, watch out!!!!

I 2nd the positive feedback on the 2nd Dimension.

Of all the balls I have, this is my go to ball. Current balls in the lineup:

*VG
*Rogue Cell
*Rico'd Hyroad
*Venom

Smooth, strong, continuous backend motion. Most people have their's taken to 2000 to knock the polish off. I went the other way and used Storm Step 3 (2500 polish) and couldn't be happier. In my opinion this ball doesn't get the positive reviews it deserves because it's overshadowed by Storm's big hooking Virtual Gravity (same with the Dimension btw - no one throws them where I am because they all flocked to the VG).

Dimension/Second Dimension is my favorite 1-2 combo to use on longer patterns when I don't have to swing it much.  So much control, so much drive through the pindeck.  Both are drilled pin up, around 5x5.  I keep the Dimension at 2000 dull, and I put fresh 2000 on my Second Dimension, then just polished it by hand to get an earlier, smoother reaction than I got out of the box where it was just way too much on the backend.  This extra midlane really brought the ball to life for me.
