Thinking about a Natural

I was practicing this morning on some broken down lanes, medium oil.  My Rapid Fire and Cherry Vibe were getting an over/under reaction, and I pulled out this old AMF Angle I picked up at a garage sale for a buck that was in my bag.  I played that baby down and in and loved the smooth, predictable reaction with minimal hook. The strikes started coming. The urethane cover had no problem getting through the oil.  And with a slight hand adjustment I could throw it straight to pick up spares.

Now I know the Angle doesn't have a core like the Natural, but I'm thinking that as a medium revs/speed stroker the Natural might be a potent weapon for me as I could throw it almost straight. I never see anything but THS.  Can the Natural OOB can handle fresh and medium oil?

I got mine a week ago and tried it on a fresh THS for a game just to make sure it fit.  It comes dull, but I had it polished before it was drilled.  I played straight down 5 and it carried very well (can't wait to try it on burnt heads)  

I have no doubt that it would be able to handle the THS at OOB.  

there are several people that have posted videos ( http://www.videoballreviews.com/natural.html for one) that shows it on a THS.

Thanks for the video links.  Looks like exactly the kind of reaction I'm looking for.

Interesting to note that both the videoballreviews and Jeff Carter's balls were laid out to have almost a forward roll.  I'm no expert, but doesn't that also account for the lack of big hook on the backend?
