717 with T-Road Pearl
« on: November 21, 2007, 01:11:24 PM »
I've had plenty of 7's before, but this year has been a real struggle, well it was before I punched up a T-Road Pearl.  717 last night, the ball was absolutely crushing the pocket.

I'm averaging 189 this year, down from 202 last year.  Nothing has been working for me.  The shot is 41', lighter volume, clean backends.  The T-Road is so predictable, and surprisingly smooth for a pearl.  I've averaged 212 the past 4 weeks with it, and haven't had to pull out another ball.  Standing 25 at the start of the night, rolling over 13 out to 7 or so.  I move a total of 5 boards throughout the night.  The 2 10 pins I left I knew right when the ball came off my hand that it wasn't a good shot.

I'm not sure why this is a 3rd tier ball, I can't imagine how the Agent and Fire series could be any better.

Great set! I'm inching closer to a 7 myself, it's been a while.

I'm not sure it's really a third "tier" ball so to speak, just a different ball. I know the Agent series in general revs much earlier and handles more oil. The Fire series is similar to the Thunder series, just a different core. I find that my T-Road is pretty smooth for a pearl, but sometimes it gets a bit over/under on me. Do you guys think if I hit it with 4000 Abralon, it'll smooth that out?

My T-Road Pearl was a little too snappy coming out of the midlane.  I took a 4000 Abralon pad to it.  That made all the difference in the world.  Give it a shot.

  STORM ON!

Congrats nospareball,

Yup! the T-Road Pearl is one really great ball and as of right now its my favorite ball

Last week in Vegas I just missed a 7-Series by one mark with all of my new STORM arsenal; I shoot 224 with the Secret Agent then 246 with my T-Road Solid and then
I shoot 216 with my T-Road Pearl...at least it was "30clean" with my new STORM arsenal.

I freaking love my T-Road Pearl

Nice set. Cant wait to get my T-Road Pearl, been waiting for it for 2 weeks now and its gonna be another 2 weeks before I will get it. Ive been struggling to shoot 625+ lately so I pulled out an older Storm ball that I found 2 weeks ago. Storm Re-Loaded on a RICO layout and went 627 and 626. Better then 525's and 560's!

Great shooting!

I for one don't put more expensive balls above the lower end equipment.  Too me the lower end equipment rolls just as good if not better than many top end balls.

I don't roll Storm but have heard very good things about the T-road pearl.

I roll Hammer equipment and have had some of my best games with thier lower end equipment.
