The Summit Peak is an energized, responsive, and more angular version of the Summit. It was designed to complement the original and be a versatile ball for all skill levels. The Summit Peak features TX-23 pearl coverstock with the Centripetal HD weight block paired with the A.I. outer core. The pearl cover helps it clear the fronts and the core will create more midlane roll without losing a strong backend reaction. The Peak gave me a great look sliding on 30, looking 17 at the arrows with my breakpoint around 8-9. As the lanes broke down, I was able to move left and it continued to create sharp backend motion. When compared to the Summit, the Peak is cleaner, more angular, and a few boards weaker. The Peak will be a great choice after the Summit or other hybrid balls struggle to kick out the corner pins in league or tournaments. I expect the Peak to excel on medium patterns or later in tournament blocks. Stop by your local Storm VIP pro shop to check it out! Available on January 19th.
