accutread solid and pearl

I believe the only balls up to now that had the accutread solid and pearl were the

X factor Deuce
X factor (accutread mystic pearl)
Triple X extreme

Any other balls besides the new Jolts and the Hot wire that had accutread?  Leave out the particle please...thanks.

Well how i am off base nothing like throwing columbia made storm balls huh??? At least someone from Storm is admitting too this like we are idiots on here, so if you say accutread is the same then it is the same. You seem like a pretty decent guy i just talked with Tim Mack yesterday at the west coast regional another very nice storm guy.

The reason i said you were off base is the fact that you said you doubted it was the same cover. It is in fact "pure" accu-tread, exactly like it was on the previous balls.

I wasnt calling you out, so to speak, its just frustrating when somebody makes statements that can be taken out of context and then it could be too late for damage control

.......and yes, Timmy is a great guy. He gets a lot of grief that he doesnt deserve. People thing that because he hasnt had much success in the PBA that he is an over-hyped amatuer. The fact is that he is arguably the greatest International Bowler in the World. If Timmy chooses to focus on that aspect of the sport instead of the PBA, then that is his decision and i stand by him 100 % !!!

What about the Jolt Pearl?  Is that going to be the new light oil ball of choice?  I was thinking of something like a Hot Rod Hybrid but now I am wondering about maybe a Jolt.

Depends on what you are looking for Fluff. The Hot Rod Hybrid had the Reacor cover on it. It was definitely stronger downlane than the Jolt Pearl. In my opinion the Jolts fill the gap between the Tropicals and the mid-price lines a little better than the Hot Rods did. I just had the Hot Rods a little too skid/snappy in most cases

Jeff,

I note that the

Deuce

has a high diff .058 and some mass bias...

The

Jolt

Has a similar lower rg but a much lower differential and is symmetrical.

Lately I have been having great luck with the Deuce...drilled pin up and strong and mass bias in the track.  I have tried this drilling with other strong pearl mass bias balls too.  

I note that these seem to really rev up yet wait in the midlane befor attacking the pocket with reduced entry angle (in comparison to my mass bias strong or mass bias on val drillings.  And in the house I bowl in this wait and softer entry angle is sweet and carries.

When I seem to put these drillings (pin out and up and cg near grip center on weaker symmetrical cores like the Hot rod etc they don't seem to do much?

Sort of lopey and not much.  (I put the same pin position with a stacked drilling and I get monsters out of these weaker core balls but too much entry  angle).

Ideas?

Ah thanks!  Well I won't be making this purchase for another month or so...  I guess I have to ponder this one.

I loved the Deuce...it was the first Storm ball I threw after a few years of other companies stuff, and it got me stuck on Storm now. Accu-tread is great and I would love to try some more things with this cover.

I notice the core of this ball bears a striking resembalance to a certain patented diamond core and is identified as the OLD Perfect Piece core.Could somebody have come across a good thing and slapped a patent on it building an entire high end ball company around another person's design.
I sense CONSPIRACY here.

AND

Now that Columbia is pouring both Storm and Lane 1 how long before we see a diamond core surrounded by Accu-tread ?
A ball I WOULD own by the way.
