Adding Balls to my Storm Arsenal
« on: May 19, 2005, 05:59:09 AM »
I have a Vertigo and a Depth charge and am considering getting rid of the Depth Charge. I would like to add 2 or 3 more to my arsenal, but am not sure what to get. I was thinking of either the Pro Stock Pearl, the new Fired Up, the new Screamin' Banshee, or the Hot Rod Hybrid. The throw the ball with medium revs at about 15 to 16 mph.

Anyway if you want a Heavy oil ball For cheap you should get a Flash Flood and drill it with the pin very close to your ringfinger. An expensive ball would be an Ace or a Triple Xtreme

I am getting an Ace in the next month or so and I am getting it to medium to heavy oil. I am getting it drilled with the pin up, that might be good for you to because I have medium revs and I also throw it around 15-16mph

For Dry conditions I would suggest a Hot Rod Hybird, but it is more for light oil than dry. http://www.stormbowling.com/ball/ball.asp?ballid=191
The Scremin' Banshee might be better for dry conditions http://www.stormbowling.com/ball/ball.asp?ballid=194

I too bought the hybrid for drier conditions and let me tell you it doesnt work out very well.....The house I bowl in is very dry on the backends and I drilled the ball accordingly and the ball hooks out of the house....I usually go to my eraser banshee or my eraser PBT so you go with what you think but if you want a hybrid I will make you a deal on one or trade you for something....thanks

What pin placement and top weight do you suggest for any of these balls?
