vg drilling

i have a vg and i am not really matching up with it. I was wondering if anyone has drilled it with a longer pin to pap say 5 or six inches with the pin up ,and what your results were . mine is 4 inches from pap under ring finger mb right of thumb 1 and 1/2 inches with a small weight hole .I have had it for a year have tried different surfaces and have never realized its brilliance. I am a stroker low speed low revs and it very seldom works for me. usually just in practice,and i have tried it on multiple shots ,heavy oil no hook,med lanes down and in 5 board move to pocket 10 pins,drier lanes over hook. Nothing i have tried it on makes me think i can use it

My VG has a 5" pin, but pin down.  Without knowing your PAP I can only assume so much.  However, the MB seems to be in a very weak location for you.  Meaning it's going to skid further down the lane and then turn pretty late.  Exactly what surfaces have you tried it at?

polished it tried it at 1000,and then polished it over the 1000.its being redrilled now pin over bridge mb moved closer to thumb 1inch
