Rolling Thunder Pearl
« on: March 27, 2006, 10:41:52 AM »
Well friends, in an effort to find something new, I went old. My proshop had one of these guys hanging around so I picked it up, and hey a perfect fit with some thumb alterations!  Now I ask you, what should I expect from this beast.  I know the core is a great one and I loved the cover on the too hot, so am I getting as good of a ball as I think?

Well if nobody knows, I shall tell.  This is one fine piece, very smooth not a ton of hook if you go up the boards (almost plastic like) but some serious pop at the pocket.  If you tear the cover off it acts like a weak solid, makes a real smooth hook back and bam, the pins die.  Certainly a good dry lane ball, absolutely happy I got one.  If you ever have the chance, grab one.
