I have had the Fight for 2 months and still cannot get a consistent reaction no matter where I bowl or what lane surface I bowl on. Looking for anybody that has had success with this ball and what surface/drilling they have on ball. I have pin above ring finger. Have taken ball down to 2000 abralon and also polished it up. Thinking about leaving it home for Nationals if I can't figure it out. I just do not trust the ball the way I do my IQ Tour and Tour Nano. Even with the high rg of 2.62 ball picks up earlier and has very little back end.  Tough to shoot any big numbers with a reaction like that. Ball seems to need dry to finish at all. I was wondering if anybody has tried Fight in Reno. With the condition so flat I really don't see a need for this type of reaction. Thank you for your replies.

I love my Fight!  Mine is drilled pin up 4x4x2 with a balance hole on my access.  I love the reaction I get from this ball.  Mid-lane reaction with a nice heavy roll.  I left it in OOB condition.  I couldn't be happier with it. 

I've had mine since the day it came out. Mine the pin is drilled out in my ring finger with the pin 4 3/8 from my pap (4 1/2 -> 1/2 ^). I liked mine in oob surface and i think sometime during the summer ill add a low hole to make it a little stronger.

Right now I have it at 3000 + polish and its definiely a little cleaner through the midlane and see a sharper backend reaction

I've only thrown mine a couple of games but I really like the reaction pin under ring. Seems to be a really smooth controllable piece that can be used on a lot of conditions..

I practice with a Storm staffer once a week and his fight looks incredible on the heavier volume house shots around here. He has one of the old school 1996 "label" drills on it. Pin next to ring (about 3 1/2" to PAP), CG in the palm no hole. He said he hasn't used that layout since his first reactive ball in youth league. That layout on todays equipmentit probably would flare out and stop on anything made today except a smooth high RG ball like this. The motion is so smooth and continuous with the strong pin getting it to rev up in the mids and start that  sweeping arc off the end of the pattern.

If I were to drill one, I would definitely go stronger layout no hole to give the ball some early dig & drive and adjust the surface from there. Waiting on a high rg, smooth reactive cover to hit the spot and make the turn is going to make for plack 10 city. I'm going to bowl one of those have-a-ball leagues in the summer that lets you pick any storm ball at tiered weekly pricing and it's definitely looking like it's going to be a tough decision for me with all the good stuff in their line. The Fight looks like an awesome ball though, but that cover is very aggressive. Sounds like you guys may be seeing some burn from the cover, combined with a high rg, it's not giving you that right shape through the pins.

Hank Boomershine the designer (and my coach) laid mine out pin down 4.5 pin2pap... My axis is >5 ^1/2. Pin is almost 5.5 inches away on my VAL... Be advised this ball (and the Phaze) do not display typical Storm motion... This is on purpose. Very strong covers on rolly cores equals arc at best... That being said these would not necessarily be the best choices on THS but rather Sport patterns or heavier tournament type  shots. Storm makes other balls that pop off the THS... This is what was conveyed at a Storm Matchmaker I attended a few weekends ago and a Clinic with Wes Malott and Randy Peterson just this past weekend. If you are only rolling on a THS then the Fight may never shine for you.

THIS ^^ I think they have achieved that different reaction with these two pieces. They really are different than anything Storm has done. I like what I see from both pieces.

I got one recently and had it drilled 4 X 4 x 2

First night on a 42ft Stone Fire/Ice the ball seemed to more continuation when compared to my RG CT, IQT, and Motiv VR

I did not score all that great but the ball hits great and for me finds the pocket more consistently.

Took it to Reno along with my IQT and I struggled....but I would have struggled with anything as I was a 1st timer and never see Sport Conditions. I had one good game with it.

My strike % and 1st ball pin count average is the highest of all my balls on a THS pattern, but then again I only have 6 league games on it.
